I’m still in shock—I can’t believe this happened. It feels like just yesterday we were kids, running around Shell Camp in Warri, playing games on the field behind your house. It feels like yesterday when we hung out at Shell Club in Port Harcourt—you, Obinna, and I—when you came home for the holidays. I remember your visits to Germany and our trip to Spain. Also how you hosted me in Houston when I came to see you.
We were already making plans for another Europe trip, but God knows best. Chima, I’m grateful for your life and the impact you had on everyone around you. I’m going to miss you so much—your energy, your playful yabs, and your caring nature. Words can’t fully express how I feel, but I know one thing: you will never be forgotten. You’ll always live on in our hearts.
Rest easy, my brother. We love and miss you dearly.
